The Philippine Vice President and Liberal Party member Leni Robredo is accusing not only Bong Marcos, but his whole family of impeachment move against her.
VP Robredo said on Thursday, March 23, she tagged Marcos family and its supporters as the possible masterminds of the impeachment case against her, according to ABS-CBN.
According to the letter addressed to House Speaker Pantaleon Alvarez, Lozano and another Marcos supporter claimed that Robedo "committed acts of injustice" because she spread "fake news" about the Philippines to the world by sending a video to the United Nations Commission on Narcotic Drugs meeting (CND) last week, criticizing the government’s war on drugs. There is also a group dubbed as "Impeach Leni Team" has been reported will set another file to impeach Leni.
"Mahirap po yata talagang kalaban yung mga Marcos... Parang dinadamay yung buong bansa dahil ayaw tanggapin yung pagkatalo," Robredo said
Despite a large number of Duterte supporters who want to impeach Leni, the Philippine President opposed this suggestion. However, he believed that his VP is "in a hurry to claim the presidency."
