Veteran TV and radio broadcaster Karen Davila drew flak after posting an alleged "biased" post on Twitter.
Netizens apparently tagged him as "biased", "bayaran" and "yellow journalist" after posting her opinion on President Rodrigo Duterte's decision on disputed waters.
Davila tweeted: “...but we dont have to hand it to China on a silver platter..”
The news anchor posted it along with a headline of a local broadsheet that reads Duterte's stance that Philippines could not do anything if China build monitoring stations in Scarborough Shoal.
One netizen, who called the attention of Duterte's supporters, accused the journalist for being biased and paid.
Davila hits back to the said netizen even calling him sick.
"Gosh...you're sick. I have met supporters of the President who agree to disagree. I challenge a point...bayaran kaagad?", she exclaimed on another tweet.
Previously, the broadcaster was accused for being biased by throwing the hardest questions to Duterte during a presidential debate last April 2016.
