University of the Philippines - Los Baños (UPLB) graduate Michael Kenneth Cruz, who has been missing since last week, finally returned home and unharmed, his mother Dolores confirmed to ABS-CBN News.

Dolores said Michael returned home safely on Wednesday afternoon but refused to give further details.
She nonetheless thanked the public who helped and shared the reports about her missing son.
"Maraming salamat po sa mga tumulong at nakauwi na po nang maayos ang anak ko," she said in a phone interview.
Dolores also said her son is resting.
Michael, 23, is the youngest in his family and graduated magna cum laude in 2015. He is now a licensed chemical engineer.
He was reported missing last Thursday on his way to his supposed first day at work in a food and beverage company in Balayan, Batangas.
Posts and reports about his case went viral with netizens praying for his safe return.
