Despite political war, current Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte defended Vice President Leni Robredo to those who are wishing to file impeachment complaints against her.
After he arrived at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport, Duterte held a press briefing. In his speech, he said people should stop filing impeachment cases against the VP.
"Look. We just had an election. Guys, lay off. Stop it. You can do other things, but do not tinker with the structure of government. I will not countenance it. Elected iyong tao eh."
In a previous report, Duterte accused his VP Robredo that she's "in a hurry to claim the presidency." The President also mentioned in his recent press briefing, "Eh ako, malay mo hindi na ako magising bukas sa bangungot, okay na. Eh di siya."
