Torrents Sites to Bid Farewell Soon

Various video-sharing pages and torrent sites may soon not be available for its many users as Google and other search engines plans to prohibit their appearances in their result pages.

Google, along with Yahoo, Bing and other search engines apparently joined forces to combat online piracy.

Torrent Freak reported that their industry almost finishes to design a scheme and employ a regulation code to crack down illegal sites.

The British Parliament supports the plan saying that they are expecting the said agreement to be implemented "very soon."

“While there are still elements of detail to be settled, the group has now agreed on the key content of the code and I expect an agreement to be reached very soon,” Parliament representative Baroness Peta Jane Buscombe said.

The Baroness added that the codes may take effect by June 1 this year.
