BREAKING NEWS: Court Finally Orders De Lima's Arrest

Muntinlupa Regional Trial Court (Branch 204) Executive Judge Juanita T. Guerrero has finally ordered the arrest of Senator Leila de Lima.

Apparently, one of the cases filed against the Senator has "sufficient probable cause."

The senator is facing 3 complaints before Muntinlupa City Regional Trial Court for violating Section 5 of the Dangerous Drugs Act, which penalizes the "sale, trading, administration, dispensation, delivery, distribution and transportation of illegal drugs.

It was when she was justice secretary when she allegedly receives drug money from high-profile inmates for their protection.

Claiming that she will be the administration's first political prisoner, the arrest she has expected few weeks ago would be a "plain and political persecution."

She even added that the President has a "personal vendetta" on her because of her persistence to investigate "Davao Death Squad" during the time of President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo.

Inhibiting himself on the case of De Lima, Justice Secretary Vitaliano Aguirre claimed that the arrest is not politically motivated and that she could not categorize herself as a political prisoner.

De Lima, along with his driver, Ronnie Dayan and another one, will be arrested as soon as arrest orders will be available.
