Jollibee had won the hearts of everyone once again as they honor the 76-year-old grandmother who
had been selling kakanin since 1978
just to provide for her family’s daily
needs.
As part of the Grandparent’s Day, Jollibee
in Carmen, Pangasinan threw a surprise
party for Lola Belen together with her
two children and four grandchildren.
After her husband died, by selling
varieties of street food outside the Jollibee branch even before it had
opened, Lola Belen could give what her
children needed as they grew. Now, they both had families, she was still helping them by giving some
of her income in selling kakanin.
With all her sacrifices, Jollibee let her took a day off by having a simple feast with her family and enjoyed some Jollibee foods that Filipinos really loved.
Lola Belen couldn’t hide her happiness as she cried tears of joy for the appreciation
and efforts that Jollibee gave to her.
Netizens were touched with what Jollibee did and praised the local fast-food chain.
