A grade 5 student in Tanauan City, Batangas died after his head hit the floor when his classmate allegedly punched him inside their school.
The 10-year-old child was brought to a barangay health center before being transferred to C.P. Reyes Hospital were he was declared dead, Batangas provincial police reported.
Allegedly, police suspects his 11-year-old classmate who punched him for the death of the victim.
It was 10 am in an elementary school in Brgy. Pantay Bata when the suspect punched the victim's shoulder while transferring rooms.
The victim lost his balance that made him fell on the floor, banged his head, and get unconscious.
Regional Crime Laboratory Office-4A is in charge on the investigation of the incident.
