Grade 2 Student in Iligan Brings Shabu Sachets in School

A grade 2 student in a public elementary school in Iligan City was caught showing sachets of alleged 'shabu' to his young classmates.

The 16-year-old boy apparently shows other students six sachets of illegal drugs outside a comfort room, said Marilyn Cajeta, school principal of Villaverde Elementary School.

Some students who witnessed the incident reported it to school authorities.

Apparently, the boy did not disclose where did he acquire those stuff that was already confiscated for identification in a crime laboratory.

Helen Bagares, his school teacher, expresses disbelief that the child uses those drugs but she noted that his student once confessed being high with a roof sealant.

She added that the child previously told her that he was not fed at home and his parents always argue.

School administrators already asked his parents to come for questioning while the child continues his classes.

The security within the school premises is also tightened.
