Amid troubling issues President Rodrigo Duterte faces nowadays, he never forgets to play his role as a father to his own family.
In a speech in Davao City on Thursday, he inserted to talk about his favorite son, Sebastian "Baste" Duterte, on its relationship with sexy actress, Ellen Adarna.
The President apparently expressed frustration and disappointment to Baste after not seeing him home for a long time.
"Ang isang bunso, isa pa ring tarantado. Hindi na umuuwi ng bahay. Sige lang doon kay Adarna," Duterte said.
He even noted that his son almost forgets his family tagging his grandchild having no close relationship with him.
"Tinanong ko iyong apo ko eh. Kaya ko kinuha, nilagay ko sa bahay na maliit, iyong katabi lang din ng bahay ko... 'Sinong mahal mo? Papa mo at pati mama mo?' 'Mama lang.' It's a tragedy. Magsagot ang bata nang ganoon," he said.
In a Facebook post, the presidential son replied that his father forgot that he and Adarna already set apart last December.
"I really love being his favorite son. Chill lang Pa, hiwalay na kami December pa, nakalimutan mong sinabihan kita noong New Year nasa bahay tayo ni Mama," his post reads in a local language.
Adarna recently revealed that Baste broke up with her through a text message.
