Contrary to traditional belief that you'd be unlucky in your birth year, Feng Shui experts say that this year is an exception, with lots of lucky stars coming this Lunar year for those born under the year of the Rooster.
For this Fire Rooster Year, conflict and romance await President Rodrigo Duterte, says Feng Shui expert Pricess Lim Fernandez, adding that negative event can be turned into positive ones.
The Rooster has an inborn benefactor luck, so help is at hand to a Rooster like Duterte, explains Fernandez.
In addition, a rooster has academic luck, which represents their thirst and quest for knowledge. Therefore, Roosters like the President, are born smart.
Roosters may have many lucky stars this year, but they need to focus in areas where these stars may not be present, like health and relationship, says Fernandez.
She reminds Roosters, the President included, to watch out for their health, to avoid attending funerals and to find the appropriate out-of-the-box solutions to resolve conflicts.
“Because he (Duterte) is born in the Year of the Rooster, he has to watch for his personal well-being, safety, and health,” Fernandez advises.
“The relationship between the fire and the Rooster is fire and metal. The Rooster is the metal, so the fire will melt the metal. There is a general disharmony in that relationship. Disharmony will translate to conflict,” she added.
“But, the good thing is, the characteristic of the Fire Rooster is innovation, creativity, communication, and romance. So, it’s both good and bad.”
As for love life, “The Rooster will always have a romance star no matter what,” Fernandez asserts. “I think that’s why the Rooster is pretty colorful!”
Meanwhile, Feng Shui expert Marites Allen advised Duterte to take care of himself in the month of March, which happens to be the month of the rabbit, the every enemy of the rooster.
"Be careful during the month of March, which is the rabbit month because he (Duterte) is born on the year of the rooster," Allen said.
She added that those born under the Rooster sign should also be careful between 5 a.m. and 7 a.m., which are the hours ruled by the rabbit, while the hours between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. are the best hours for them.
According to Allen, Duterte's friendship with Russian President Vladimir Putin makes sense because of their respective Chinese zodiacs.
"Our president, Duterte, a rooster, is in alliance with Vladimir Putin's dragon sign. Rooster and dragon are secret friends," she said.
