Warriors Still Aiming for Ray Allen

After the Golden State Warriors have acquired Kevin Durant to be in their all-star team, they are currently aiming to achieve the 'Big 4,' eyeing on former Miami Heat star Rey Allen. Again.

The Warriors have been courting Rey Allen for a comeback since 2014. Though Allen has not played basketball professionally since 2014, it has been rumored that he still have kept himself in shape.

He has still not officially retired despite not playing for the past two season. It's possible that Allen would prefer to only play a partial season to avoid injury.

Allen, who through 18 NBA seasons shot 40% from 3 point range, would seem to fit well with the Warriors style of play. Though the Cavaliers and Heat are frequently tied to Allen, the team most likely to provide him his third championship right this year would be Golden State.

If he accepts the offer, the 41-year-old would become the oldest active player in the NBA and require a veteran minimum of just over $1.5 million. Though his comeback may still fail due to Ray Allen's total silence since 2014, it would still be awesome to see the former Miami Heat star to play alongside Steph Curry.
