Comedy Queen Ai Ai delas Alas finally answered questions asking if her ex-best friend Kris Aquino was invited to her upcoming wedding with non-showbiz boyfriend Gerald Sibayan on December 12, 2017.
The controversy started to spark when the two had a conflict regarding a personal issue back when they were both Kapamilya artists.
The two settled the issue yet their friendship didn’t stay the same as before.
With Ai Ai’s one of the most memorable moments is set to come, many netizens kept on asking if her old friend would come to witness it.
Ai Ai explained to respect her feelings and her wedding as she answered the question.
“Importante sa akin ang araw na ‘yun, kaya sana huwag nang intrigahin. Sana isaalang-alang at igalang nila ang feelings ko,” shared the comedienne.
“Mas pipiliin ko na huwag sagutin ang mga intriguing question dahil kahit ano pa ang isagot ko, siguradong may sasabihin ang haters at bashers,” she added. “Sabi nga, ‘There’s always peace in silence. A meaningful silence is always better than meaningless words.’”
Before, Ai Ai’s daughter Sophia had already answered a netizen asking the same question, and she said, “Does she have to be? Being ‘okay’ with someone doesn’t give you an invite to a wedding.”
