A carpenter in Ilocos Norte died after being electrocuted by a microphone while singing.
Rufo Orio was in a videoke bar in Dumalneg when the incident happened.
Orio was immediately brought to the nearest hospital but was declared dead on arrival.
Authorities are still looking for the possible liability to be faced by the owner of the bar because of the unfortunate incident.
Owners are reminded to inspect their videoke machines to avoid accidents like that for their customers.
