Lisa (not her real name) was just attending to her makeshift stall with her friend on a juction road somewhere in Sta. Cruz, Manila when three women and one man approached her and started hitting her. One of them even kicked her monoblock chair.
It turned out that the attackers were a wife and her three children who all mistaken Lisa as the querida of their head of the family.
Lisa initially tried to evade the punches of one of the assailants but the four ganged up on her and she couldn't defend herself anymore.
She received slaps, punches and kicks from all four attackers, she was dragged to the ground with one of the them pulling her hair.
Some passersby were seen in the footage to have tried stopping them but one of them would immediately hold them off. Passing vehicles would stop by to watch the horrid incident.
According to Barangay Tanod Macario Molinis, both of Lisa's eyes were swollen due to the assault and she could hardly walk..
The saddest thing is that Lisa was just mistaken for the husband's querida. Later that day, the actual mistress showed up in the barangay office.
The assaulters ended up paying Lisa P15,000 as settlement fee.
The real querida was reported to have left the city.
