A recent online survey says that about 58% Filipinos prefer to use mobile phones to break up with their partner.
Apparently, text messaging has been the most preferred way garnering 30 percent of the respondents. Phone calls falls second with 22 percent and messenger, the least with 7%.
On the other side, only 34 percent still prefers to do it personally and an estimate of 6.3 percent wants it handwritten.
The said survey also reveals how social media affects relationships among Filipinos.
While 65 percent shares their password to their partner, it was also reflected that most break ups happen because of social media researches like stalking that accounts to 60 percent.
One out of three respondents still hopes to have reconciliation with their partner with 75 percent doing it by sending gifts and 69 percent believing that it doesn't need to be expensive.
500 Filipinos served as respondents to the survey conducted by Lazada, an online shopping site.
