LOOK: College Pageant Photo Shoot Gone Wrong, EJK-Themed Photos Called 'Insensitive' and 'No Joke' by Netizens

A college-based beauty pageant in Manila apparently gaining mixed reactions from netizens after uploading yesterday an "insensitive" pictorial album of their candidates in Facebook.

The album posted by the pageant organizers of the Polytechnic University of the Philippines-College of Engineering "Mr and Ms Engineering 2017" shows their pool of contestants in a photo shoot inspired by "extrajudicial killings".

It was captioned: "The candidates of Mr. and Ms. Engineering 2017 flaunt their flaws this EJK-Themed photo shoot."

Pictures included show candidates playing dead like killed drug suspects, bodies wrapped in packaging tape or covered with blood, but above all, bear cardboard that states their flaws.

The organizers might want to impose a socially-relevant art, but what seems to be a satire turns out to be an insensitive, gravely humorous, and offensive as a joke.

Many are confused of what message does it really imply. In their attempt to show protest against EJK, they landed to a wrong message.

Many interpreted it the way being a drug pusher cause the death of an EJK victim; the flaws they have cause the death of them.

Some also commented that EJK ino joke and using it as a theme is inappropriate for a pageant.

Look at some saved photos from the deleted album.
