Duterte Testifies Ghosts to Exist in Malacañang

President Rodrigo Duterte on Sunday testified that ghosts apparently shows up in Malacañang Palace even at daytime.

“Ako didto ako puyo sa pikas. Kay ang multo sa Malacañang, maski adlaw nagpapakita man (Me, I stay on the other side because the ghosts at Malacañang appear even at daytime),” the President said.

He even specified that he has seen a pale Filipina akin to a white lady and a man with a pipe sitting on a rocking chair.

"Iyon bang multo na Pilipina, nakita ko nga, Pilipina na luspad,” the President described in his own dialect. “Malacañang, rocking chair nga puti nakagunit ug pipa. Abay linte ni ah. Diri ta, retreat, retreat. Si didto ako katulog sa kagagmay na kwarto sa atbang."

That is why instead of the traditional stay at the symbolic Palace, Duterte with the first family prefer to reside at Bahay Pagbabago, a nearby shelter situated at the Presidential Security Group grounds where he needs to ride a boat across Pasig river to reach.

Accounts from former first families were also recorded saying that children, victims of World War II, and a certain Father Brown appeared while ghosts of dead presidents like Manuel L. Quezon, Manuel Roxas, and Ramon Magsaysay also showed up.

Previous President Noynoy Aquino also chose to live away from the Palace as he related to stories of pianos playing by themselves, strange footsteps in hallways, and the alleged "kapre" on the balete tree at the entrance of the Palace.

Duterte noted that he also disliked Malacañang for having too many doors that confuses him.

It was remembered that Duterte even insisted before to stay in a nearby hotel if not just for security reasons.
