Just a few weeks before the pageant, Pia Wurtzbach reflected on her year-long journey while wearing the Miss Universe Crown.
All the way from her apartment in New York City, the Filipina beauty went live on Facebook Saturday morning (US time) to reconnect with her supporters from all over the world.
There she expressed her excitement for the much-anticipated Miss Universe pageant which will be held on January 30 at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City, where she will crown her successor.
Wurtzbach said that having the next Miss Universe in the Philippine is something that she always wanted to see, saying that she's also glad that it's happening during her reign.
She admitted that she's going to miss working with the Miss Universe organization and the people who helped her along the way, she's still positive of what's yet to come.
Though the beauty queen can't reveal which path she'll be taking after turning over the crown, she'll be expected to be very busy as she still have work lined up after Miss Universe.
"Everything is going pretty well and I'm not worried what's going to happen to me after," said Wurtzbach.
When asked about Philippines' bet Maxine Medina, she said that Medina is doing well but it's too early to tell as most of the ladies are yet to arrive in Manila.
Wurtzbach then encouraged everyone to put aside all the negativity and support the candidates on their journey to the coveted Miss Universe crown.
