Two Palestinian terrorists, dressed in suits, open fire in restaurant at popular Sarona center Wednesday night, leaving four people killed and five others seriously hurt.

The shooting occurred about 9 p.m. local time at Sarona Market, a mixed-used establishment with a food hall, upscale retail, playgrounds, green space and residence on a central highway. A trendy destination and quite popular among tourists and locals.

The market is just across the street from Israel’s Defense Ministry and main army headquarters.

Police said that the two Palestinian gunmen sat in the Max Brenner inside the Sarona complex, then began a shooting spree. They were seen suing Carl Gustav-style guns and also had knives, according to Israel Radio.

According to Israeli police spokesman Micky Rosenfeld, two Palestinian suspects were captured both dressed as Hasidic Jews, with one shot and the second arrested at the scene.

Five people were injured and the injured suspect is also at the hospital, said Dr. Gil Fire, deputy director on Ichilov Hospital. It was confirmed that the three victims already passed away less than an hour after the gunfire. The fourth victim, a woman, died soon after midnight.

Three others were in serious condition.

Police later confirmed they are Palestinian relatives, 21-year-old cousins, from the Hebron area in the West Bank.

Some unconfirmed reports said of a third gun man who escaped but authorities called off the search after an hour.

Surveillance footage from a café near the shooting site showed the horrific scene of chaos, as customers panicked and rushed to escape.

Rosenfeld said that the situation was already under control as the area was being cleared while officers searched for explosives.
