In his press conference for his upcoming concert, “Hey Matteo,” Matteo Guidicelli admitted that there were times that he got irritated with bashers who kept on giving him negative and rude comments.
“People bash me all the time and it gets irritating at times. I post about something, about working out, and they talk about naglalandi ako sa iba, crazy things,” said the 27-year old actor.
Most of the time, Matteo just ignored them but just like other artists and celebrities, he sometimes could not control himself to answer those bashers and to defend himself.
“Dalawang beses, tatlong beses... na-private message ko sila. Nakakainis din yung bashers, but at the end of the day, they’re looking for attention,” he added.
Matteo also said that these people were those who abused their social media rights. He also emphasized that why it was important to be responsible in using the social media.
“It’s very easy to go over the line. That’s why responsibility in social media is very, very important. Some kids think they’re Superman because they can’t see their kalaban, they just talk and talk. But at the end of the day, you just have to stand for what you think and you believe is true. And what you believe is true in yourself and just move on from that," explained the singer-actor.
Matteo is now focusing on his singing career and will set to have his concert on November 30 at the Kia Theatre which was named based on his album, Hey Matteo.
