A mother was found dead after his own son slaughtered her to death in Putok 5, Barangay Boloc-Boloc in Sibulan, Negros Oriental.
Josefina Barera Manaban, 86, is a widow and apparently lives where the crime happened.
Her son, Roger Barera Manaban, 52, has a wife but got no permanent address.
Police investigator of PNP Sibulan reported that the suspect was caught while still holding the wedge he used to slaughter his own mom.
The suspect cooked the dead body of his mother and even ate her internal organs.
The suspect allegedly raped his mom after Roger and the victim was seen naked.
The police are still investigating the suspect's probable addiction to illegal drugs.
However, the suspect, who is now facing parricide, is apparently not in the proper state of mind.
