The news on Kapamilya host Atom Araullo leaving ABS-CBN make rounds online.
"Working with ABS-CBN for over a decade has been an amazing adventure. However, the time has come to explore emerging opportunities and challenges beyond the organization," Araullo said in a statement.
A talent of the Kapamilya network for a decade now, he expressed how respectful he was to the network who shaped him to what he is now today.
"Although I am taking a new path, I have nothing but respect and gratitude for the company that helped me become the journalist I am today," he added.
He co-hosted the morning show, Umagang Kay Ganda, and programs such as Red Alert and Hiwaga.
He has also produced documentaries for ANC, which includes "Warmer", which took home a bronze medal and a UNDPI silver award at the 2017 New York Festivals “World’s Best TV and Films” competition.
GMA-7 hasn't yet announcing his transfer but he is ought to be a new addition to the award-winning line up of GMA News and Public Affairs.
