While disproving claims that the feared 'The Big One' will happen anytime from February 24- to March 8, Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) issued list of Barangays in Greater Metro Manila traversed by two grand valley faults.

Over 80 barangays in Metro Manila and its nearby provinces, based on Phivolcs study, were found to be situated on West Valley Fault and East Valley Fault.

These areas were predicted to be greatly damaged by the most feared 'The Big One' that may hit Luzon anytime.

So far, Phivolcs has no intruments available to predict when an earthquake will occur.

Apparently, no technology in the world could do such.
