Mocha Fussed Over Sexual Scenes on TV, Threatens to Resign as MTRCB Board Member Over Inability to Pursue Change

Mocha threatens to resign as member of the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) over members who allegedly neglects the changes she wanted to impose.

Based on the video blog posted by the former sexy dancer, her plans for change were apparently ignored by other members of the board.

She even pointed out that of the 30 members of the board, some of which were there since the last administration, disapproves changes to come in their office.

In the same video blog, she complains the permission being granted to two controversial shows of ABS-CBN; particularly the almost-obscene depiction of rape in Ipaglaban Mo, and daring scenes from the pilot episode of The Better Half starred by Denise Laurel and Carlo Aquino.

Based on Mocha, television networks just make use of the SPG or "Strong Parental Guidance" rating as access for telecast of their harmful scenes in Philippine TV.

Mocha exclaimed that MTRCB is not serving its purpose if obscenity and extreme violence are still permitted to air.

I will still help and serve our country voluntarily."

It was in January when Mocha entered the board, earlier campaigning for the removal of 'SPG' rating.

However, based on reports, Mocha haven't raised her concerns during her orientation last month and didn't even attended the meeting this February.
