LOOK: INQUIRER Publishes FAKE News

Governor Imee Marcos cries foul over a fake news about her published by the Philippine Daily Inquirer.

In the story written by Leilanie Adriano entitled "At rally called by Imee, EDSA revolt called fake", she told that an "alleged" Ilocos People Power was initiated by the governor.

They apparently fabricated a story that allegedly, the descendant of Marcos said that the EDSA People Power Revolution is fake.

Inquirer published the story on February 27 saying that Marcos called for a gathering to show support to the administration of President Rodrigo Duterte.

She denied in her Facebook post that she throwed a statement like such.

Marcos even testified that she wasn't even present in the said affair.

Inquirer apparently used an old picture of another rally held last year at the Supreme Court in their article.

"Why the deliberate effort to put an old picture of me and attributing a statement I never said. Anyare?" Marcos added.

The gathering was conducted to support the pro-Duterte rally held in Luneta Park, Manila.
