Transport group PISTON aims to protest against government's plan to phase out old jeepneys.
Apparently, their members in Metro Manila and other provinces confirms participation to the said strike on early Monday morning.
At 6am, jeepney drivers from Metro Manila are set to meet at Monumento Circle. They will proceed at Quezon City Elliptical Road before noon to march toward Mendiola.
The strike also campaigns against plans to impose a required P7 million minimum capital for jeepney operators and 10 minimum units for each franchise.
