Reigning Miss Universe Pia Wurtzbach confirms a relationship with race car driver Marlon Stockinger weeks after their sizzling New Year photos together trend online.
"We are together," Pia said on Monday, January 16 in an interview on ANC.
Queen P., who was set to crown her successor on January 30, claims that she is glad having someone who was secured enough with himself and someone who deeply understands the nature of her job.
Stockinger, a half Filipino and half Swiss race car driver, was described by Pia as very understanding and humorous.
Sharing many similarities being both Filipinos and Catholic, Pia shares how comfortable she is in showing herself to her new lover.
“He always makes me laugh. And hindi pilit yung parang, gusto ko siya, kaya natatawa ako. Alam mo, may ganun eh, couple kayo pero alam mo baduy siya, pero tatawa ka. Pero hindi, sa kanya, genuine,” she said.
Wurtzbach also noted that Miss Universe Organization President Paula Shugart and her very own manager, Esther Swan show approval about her and Stockinger's special connection.
It was in October 2016 when Marlon confirmed that he and the Miss Universe were seeing each other.
Since then, photos of them together were making rounds online including the photos taken during their New Year get away in Hawaii.
