Sen. Manny Pacquiao aims to conduct fifth match with his arch nemesis, Juan Manuel Marquez here in Manila, therefore seeking Php 2.5-3.5 billion from the Department of Tourism.
It was remembered that the Senator formerly lost by an excruciating knock out in the sixth round of his fourth match with the Mexican dynamite in 2012.
The Filipino icon confirms that he is planning to have the fifth match by the last quarter of the year, bringing Marquez in the Philippines, where he plans to stage the fight.
In this cause, he already sought the assistance of Tourism Secretary Wanda Corazon Teo to offer the amount needed for this endeavor.
Teo told Pacquiao that he should face a big name in boxing, the likes of Mayweather or Marquez, for them to grant his request.
