A Cebuana high school student did not expect that her photo during the Sinulog sa Kabataan sa Lalawigan dance showdown last Saturday, January 7, goes viral online.

Gerhicka Carcueva, who represented Ginatilan town for the Sinulog sa Kabataan sa Lalawigan, is thankful for the positive comments she received after netizens said she looked like the international singer Selena Gomez.

Carcueva, a senior high school student of the Divine Life Institute of Cebu Inc., is very thankful for the people who made her popular.






She said that since the picture went viral, she received a lot of positive messages and friend requests on Facebook.

Carcueva's photo was captured by Cebu Daily News' (CDN) photographer Junjie Mendoza, and has received thousands of likes and numerous shares after it was posted on CDN's Facebook page.
