LOOK: DFA Dress Code Do Not Apply to Foreigners, A Clear Case of Double Standards?

A post by a concerned Netizen went viral, in what appears to be a clear case of double standard among the officers of DFA ASEANA.

The DFA has strict policy on decorum. People wearing the following attire are not be permitted to enter  the  DFA Main Office in ASEANA:

1. Sandos, spaghettis, backless, tubes
2. Shorts
3. Rubber slippers, sandals (example, flip-flops, Ipamena, Havaianas)
4. Sleepwears for minors below 7 years old, including infants

Most people will be asked to come back with proper attire if they are seen wearing any of the said items. Clearly, the rules do not apply if you're a foreigner, specially of Caucasian descent.

Here are the excerpts from the posts.

"10Jan17. Ptp po. Kahapon po kumuha ako ng red ribbon NBI s DFA main, maraming kababayan natin ang hindi pinapasok dahil nka tsinelas, samantalang itong isang ugok na puti, pinapasok ng ugok din na security. Asaan ang hustisya. Sana malaman ni tatay digong ito. Salamat po"
