Elmo Magalona supported Janella Salvador in the block screening of Mano Po 7: Chinoy organized by ElNella fans.
Even though he was not part of the movie Mano Po 7: Chinoy, Elmo Magalona showed his support for love team partner Janella Salvador in the block screening organized by their fans club ElNella.
The ElNella love team graced the event held earlier today, December 20, at SM Light.
The two were seated beside each other while watching the film where Janella had a reunion with her first love team partner Marlo Mortel.
According to Elmo, it is the first time that he saw Janella acting on the silver screen since he wasn't able to watch the latter's Metro Manila Film Festival entry last year, Haunted Mansion.
He said, "Actually, this is the first time I saw Mano Po: Chinoy and this is the first time I saw Janella on the big screen kasi before in Haunted Mansion, I didn't get to see it.
"But yeah, I'm super proud of her kasi it's a really well-executed film and some scenes nga, medyo nakarelate ako, e.
"Not, siyempre, my family's not Chinese but yung siyempre yung pinagdadaanan ng family nila, nakarelate ako."
While seated, Elmo gave Janella the bouquet of flowers that ElNella fans bought for her.
For Janella, it was only the second time that she saw the movie. The ABS-CBN actress felt overwhelmed that she got the support of Elmo and their fans even though her Born For You partner is not part of the movie.
She pointed out, "It's my second time pa lang to watch it and well I still think it's… ang galing ni Direk [Ian Lorenos].
"It's a beautiful movie, ang ganda ng cinematography and I'm actually glad na sinuportahan pa rin ng ElNella yung movie na ito kahit wala si Elmo. They're very supportive."
Elmo and Janella also mingled with their fans after the screening.
When both were asked if they want to do a movie soon, the people inside the cinema in SM Light Mall became quiet.
Janella answered in jest, "Ayaw niya! Hindi, joke lang."
For his part, Elmo said, "Why not? If ever makagawa ako ng movie, I think Janella's like the choice, the pick dapat kasi feeling ko, kailangan naming ma-try at least."
After Mano Po: Chinoy, Janella said that she doesn't know her next project yet, but, "hopefully next year."
Will she be willing to be paired with other leading men aside from Marlo and Elmo? "Okay lang, why not? Masaya!"
After the screening, Elmo and Janella left the cinema together.
