Just days after Pokémon Go's release, people of all ages carry their phones and gear up their Pokémon master mode whenever it vibrates. Now, almost everyone you see holding a phone is possible to be a Pokémon trainer.
Every played the classic Pokémon games? Ever wanted to be the very best?
Pokémon Go was ultimately created to give players that real Pokémon experience to train your own Pokémon, compete with fellow trainers (Though I haven't seen anyone tried this feature yet. But I heard that it's possible.), and defeat gym leaders. It has this famous feature wherein you can catch Pokémon anytime anywhere and can use the player's phone camera to incorporate the Pokémon into your actual world through the screen.
Unlike the previous Pokémon versions, the Pokémon Go can be freely downloaded into your phone. All you need is a good WiFi connection and you're done. You can finally experience the Pokémon adventure.
One of the best things about this new game is that this way, youths who prefer to stay indoors and get locked up staring in their computer screens already have a reason to step out of that door and look for the rarest Pokémons and fight every gyms.
This is like the best thing that could happen especially in this generation where kids just tend to stay at home and with the number of obesity cases rising. Seriously, if you play this game, you'll chase Pokémons before other trainer catches it. You better run!
However, there are some down side to this genius game too, like having wild Pokémon suddenly appearing at very dangerous areas such as railroads, bridges and in the middle of the road.
The Pokémon Go app has a map that shows your current location and if there is an existing PokéStop nearby. However, the map doesn't feature any warning signs for those areas which are too dangerous or abandoned, or even restricted. Some players even say that some PokéStops are assigned to abandoned churches.
Some players have already been a victim of these areas, where they end up in dark alleys, abandoned buildings or being victimized by fellow players which lures them for trade but ends up snatching their phones. Also, keep an eye on your surroundings, especially the people around you. Some people already had their phone snatched because they just carry around their phones and not paying attention on who's approaching them. Though it is a full blast experience, the real world is still a dangerous place.
Though this game may sound interactive and can actually expose even the most introvert player to real world and interact with fellow trainers, the game is quite addictive. Most players tend to neglect their studies and work just for this game and this is just one of those bad effects that a player may learn once they get into this. Another thing, do not play this game while driving!
Now, it really doesn't matter if the game is awesome or not. In the end, it is still the player's discipline to himself or herself that matters. No matter how amazing this game is, please keep in mind that catching a rare Pokémon is not worth your life. Keep your head up and quit staring at the screen from time to time. Seriously. Quit gluing your eyes on it.
Now go ahead and enjoy your Pokémon adventure the right and safe way.
