Ray Allen, one of the greatest shooters in NBA history, is considering making a comeback according to league sources.
According to sources, Allen's representative recently reached out to the Golden State Warriors and Cleveland Cavaliers, about the possibility of Allen joining the two conference champions.
The Warriors have been pursuing Allen since 2014 and is still planning to push through, while Allen's contact with the Cavs was first reported by Cleveland.com.
The 41-year-old former Miami Heat star is not absolutely sure he wants to return after sitting out for the past two year. But he is intrigued by the possibility of playing for another championship. In addition to the Warriors and Cavs, he also considers joining the San Antonio Spurs and Los Angeles Clippers.
Allen was known as one of the league's best-conditioned athletes, along with the increased value of 3-point shooting in today's NBA.
