Black Lives Matter Protests Spread Across America


Concerned citizens from Nebraska to D.C. gathered to express their sorrow and anger, in wake of Dallas cop murders.



In the span of four days, the United States has come to terms with the deaths of two black men at the hands of police which was caught on mobile video and another one caught on Facebook live.

People gather hand in hand in protest for the killing of Alton Sterling and Philando Castile. Hundreds of 'Black Lives Matter' protesters march in the streets of New York City, July 7, a total of thousands across the U.S. Since the tragedy started, the intensity of protesters continues to grow every day, both in Dallas and across the country.

Protesters block traffic trying to leave a prayer vigil from Alton Sterling at Living Faith Christian Center in Baton Rouge, La.

Minnesota Gov. Mark Dayton meets with the protesters, including Diamond Reynolds and her daughter at the Governor's Mansion as protesters gathered to decry the shooting death of Reynold's fiance, Philando Castile.

People rally in Dallas, Tx., on July 7 to protest deaths of Sterling and Castile.



Police officers place themselves in the streets to protect those involved and the property around them.

Denver's Police Officers union wants officers to be at site in riot gears as protests in Colorado escalate in the wake of the Dallas police officer murders, but the police chief says not yet.

After the peaceful protest in Dallas, a sniper opened fire on 12 police officers, leaving 5 officers dead.
