After Donald Trump criticized Barack Obama's endorsement of Hilary Clinton, she told Trump to "Delete your account."

This simple yet searing three-word message sent via Twitter marked the start of Clinton and Trump's full-blown social media war.
United States outgoing President Barack Obama on Thursday, June 8, released a video with the message "I cannot wait to get out there and campaign for Hillary."
"She got the courage, the compassion and the heart to get the job done," Obama said of Clinton.

The Republican nominee mocked Obama's endorsement of the presumptive Democratic nominee. Trump tweeted: “Obama just endorsed Crooked Hillary. He wants four more years of Obama but nobody else does!” This Twitter message from Trump has been retweeted over 31,000 times
On the other hand, Clinton's terse advise to Trump has been retweeted over 380,000 times, a feat for Clinton's campaign. Also, her most retweeted post ever.

Trump shot back with a reference to Clinton's size of camp. He posted: "How long did it take your staff of 823 people to think that up--and where are your 33,000 emails that you deleted?" The 33,000 emails are in reference to an email server scandal where Clinton is accused of violating state department rules.

The pair continued to exchange words on the eventful day and the "delete your account" Twitter war prompted reactions from across political spectrum.
Trump takes a no-holds-barred approach to social media; New York Times, in fact, has a list of "people, places and things [Trump] has insulted on Twitter."
