Asia's Got Talent's Gerphil Flores Graduates Cum Laude From UP College of Music

Her exceptional rendition of The Godfather theme "Speak Softly, Love" in her audition on Asia's Got Talent has reached over 9 million views. Who wouldn't remember this young lady's feat as David Foster pressed that golden buzzer in the inaugural season of Asia's Got Talent?

Now she finishes school. With honors. From UP.

Filipino classical singer, and Asia's Got Talent finalist Gerphil- Geraldine Flores has finished two degrees at the University of the Philippines College of Music.

Flores joyfully announced on her Facebook page on Friday that she "can finally harvest what she's planted" as she graduates with two degrees from the University of the Philippines College of Music.

Flores received Diploma in Creative Musical Arts and Bachelor of Music, where she received the distinction Cum Laude.

"Lord, thank you!," she wrote. "I am truly blessed with all the experiences I had as an undergraduate student including my Asia's Got Talent stint as I not only represented my country but also my beloved university."

Flores admitted that her university years "wasn't always a smooth ride," but she's thankful for all her experiences.

Flores earlier announced on her Instagram page that she garnered a general weighted average of 1.468 for the UP College of Music, qualifying her to become a College Scholar, or a Dean's Lister.
