A Facebook user named Rolando Alano exposed photos captured from the stairs of the LRT showing gross amount of accumulated plastic bottles on a building across the LRT Carriedo station.
The photo, which has been shared for more than 2,000 times already, sparked outrage among netizens.
Apparently, commuters of LRT just drop their garbages down there, accumulating toxic waste over time.
"IPUNAN PO ATA TLGA NILA YAN, college palang ako nakikita ko na yan, 2006-09 hindi po yan tinatapon ng nasakay sa LRT, ang nag lalagay dyan yung mga nasa bangketa, minsan nawawala din yan baka naibenta na,,, hmmm pero kahit na di magandang tignan madumi at makalat," a comment wrote.
Alano urges people to discourage littering in whatever place you might be.
