KZ Tandingan couldn’t help herself but cry foul over a basher who commented on her Instagram post saying that she was too stylish, unlike other local female singers.
The netizen compared the singer to Sarah Geronimo, Angeline Quinto, and Klarisse De Guzman, advising KZ to style herself simpler just like the mentioned singers.
"Don't tell me to be like Ms. Sarah G (Geronimo), Ms. Angeline (Quinto) or Klarisse (De Guzman), because I want to be myself. And being myself is expressing what I feel, in my music and in my style," answered KZ.
KZ admitted that when it comes to styling herself, she was ‘maximalist’ to express her feelings.
"I understand if I'm not the artist na gusto mo, but stop telling people who they should be, what they should look like," she added.
The singer also advised her followers on her Twitter to “never allow other people to tell you who you are, who you should be, what you should look like” together with the screen captured of the netizen’s comment and her reply.
