Jerome Ponce, together with Joshua Garcia, McCoy de Leon, and Nash Aguas, would lead a new teleserye, The Good Son, as one of the sons of Albert Martinez.
Along with their characters were their leading ladies Loisa Andalio, Elisse Joson, and Alexa Ilacad.
It could be remembered that Jerome had a past relationship with ex-Pinoy Big Brother housemate Elisse who appeared to be rumored girlfriend of McCoy. The Hashtag member also played a big part so that the two could talk about their broken relationship.
In August last year, Jerome tried to fix his relationship with Elisse inside the Big Brother house when the actor was allowed to enter to explain his side.
Jerome clarified that he broke up with her only to focus on his career during the “Be Careful With My Heart” series yet the actress said that “things have changed” and she already got move on.
Now, when he was questioned if how does it feel working with his ex-girlfriend, Jerome answered, "Relax lang. Wala pa rin naman kami masyadong eksena at nakakapagkuwentuhan naman kapag magkakasama na kaming lahat. Magkaiba lang talaga ang tent namin."
So, in the future, it’s possible that there would be scenes that the three would cross their ways.
