After the controversial joke she gave to her co-Kapamilya Star Luis Manzano during the Star Awards for Movies, Alex Gonzaga was ready to forget and focus on her newest TV show, I Can See Your Voice.
"Nag-move on na ako kasi I really meant no harm. Kami ni Kuya Luis Manzano ‘pag nagkikita talaga kami parang ‘yung pinakamasasamang maiisip mo, ’yun ang parang affections namin sa isa't isa. Siguro nu’ng nakita ko siya nawala lang ako sa lugar at nakalimutan ko it was an award show," explained Alex.
She also said that she already apologized to the Philippine Movie Press Club which she really respects and she was thankful that it had immediately accepted her apology.
"I apologized right away sa ating mga press people. I really love PMPC (Philippine Movie Press Club) kasi ilang beses na din naman na akong nakapag-host. Nanalo na din naman ako ng award and even my sister [Toni Gonzaga] s’yempre na-offend sila doon sa nasabi ko," she added.
With what happened, Alex’s sister Toni advised her to quit showbiz. How did she respond to her Ate’s wish?
“Pero sa akin naman, I'll just charge it to experience na minsan be careful. Pero nangyari na talaga," said Alex.
