The National Police Commission (Napolcom) discovered that among the police officers, there were more than 200 cops who cheated during their entrance test for the police force. These officers might face the “prospect of removal from service” for being dishonest during entrance exam.
"More than 200 itong na-discover namin na may statistical improbability na tinatawag na kung bakit pare-pareho ang maling answers, pare-pareho ang correct answers," Napolcom vice chairman Atty. Rogelio Casurao said in an interview.
He added, “We issued a circular voiding their eligibility.”
Also, there were also some policemen who were facing the same legal action when it had been proved that they used and submitted fake documentary requirement to enter the PNP.
"Ngayon ang dami naming nahuhuli na after serving the PNP for 10 years, 15 years, nadidiskubre namin na after all, lahat pala ng papeles na isinubmit ay mga peke," said Casurao.
This time, Casurao is persevered to push the periodic audit, neurological tests and retraining for policemen to ensure hopefuls fitted for this kind of public service.
