A man was arrested after admitting that he raped and killed his 2-year-old nephew in Muntinlupa last Saturday.
Security guards discovered the dead body of a young boy inside a bag at South Station Bus Terminal in Alabang, Chief Supt. Tomas Apolinario, chief of Southern Police District, said.
The young boy, who had acquired several stab wounds, was covered in white cloth.
Edgardo Mendoza, 29, who claims himself as the uncle of the victim, immediately seeks the help of the police.
Mendoza claimed that a lady brought his nephew away when he left it alone for a while to go to the rest room.
But the police gained suspicion and immediately arrested him when spots of blood were seen on his pants.
Mendoza later on admitted that he, himself, killed the young victim.
The suspect narrated that he brought his nephew in a hotel where he fed him with milk mixed with paint.
He raped him and stabbed him a lot until it dies.
The mother of the child confirmed that his brother formerly uses illegal drugs.
