MUST WATCH: Second-Year College Student Spotted Teaching Street Children

A student from University of the East (UE) named Dara Mae inspired many Filipinos. You want to know why?

Dara Mae is a second-year-college student in UE. Just like many other students, she has a hectic schedule, especially since it's currently finals week. Despite that, she always finds a way to spend time to teach street children.

Recently, she played the role of Sisa for their Filipino literature finals. What makes her different from other students is she is teaching kids on the streets during her break time. She always brings reading materials and other tools that will be useful in teaching kids. She spends from her "baon" to buy those materials.

Dara says she wants to be a teacher. This is the reason why she teaches children. She told the local media that it is not easy to teach kids. One of the challenges is the noisy environment.

Due to her good deed, a teacher from UE took her photo that instantly went viral. According to the teacher, he was amazed by Dara's passion in teaching street children. Many netizens reacted on the photo. Many got inspired.
