A man in his parked Toyota received six gunshots from an unidentified hitman on Palawan cor. Pangasinan Streets, Brgy. Santo Cristo, in Quezon City, on Sunday, February 19.
The victim, identified as Ricky Leang, was declared dead on arrival at the Quezon City General Hospital. He received fatal gunshots on head and shoulders areas.
In a CCTV footage, Leang's two sons were seen transferring from front to back seats. One of the sons was seen witnessing the arrival of the gunman.
After the gunshots, the two children stepped away from the car and ran into their house. The gunman appeared to have taken the victim wallet.
After shooting the victim, the gunman hurried away from the crime scene in his shorts, red polo shirt and a black cap. It is said that he rode a tricycle escaping away from the area.
Leang's sons were reportedly uninjured.
The motive of the shooting is still being identified.
