A 21-year-old mother and her twins died because of alleged negligence of the staff in a hospital in Bacolod City.
The alleged medical malpractice employed in Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Hospital was prodded to be the cause of death of Mary Joy Geronca Yulo and her twins.
The family of the mother said that Yulo was set to give birth to her twins in February but prematurely experiences pain that made them rushed her in the emergency ward on January 16.
Joshua Cañete, Yulo's live in partner, said that they took 30 minutes falling in line before they were called to proceed the emergency room.
They were shocked when doctors and nurses already chases for the life of his partner and his children, he added.
Cañete expressed dismay on the hospital's inability to revive their lives in the fullest way they can or even just to save either his partner or his children.
The hospital, to face a complaint that will be filed by the family before the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI), disproves the allegation of the victim's family.
Dr. Julius Drilon, medical chief of the hospital, said that they did everything that they can and all of their measures were documented.
In their defense, they have already advised Yulo to be admitted in their facility because of her condition since its first consultation in December, but the victim didn't follow.
He added that they just came back in January 16 when she is already in a delirious state.
