MAINE Mendoza received the "most precious gifts" after Coldplay main man Chris Martin sent a fan message and love button to the television star.
The 21-year-old wasn't able to hide her fan girl moment when she received the surprise through the help of a friend.
Mendoza recalled that her friend Mel got the gifts when Martin boarded an Etihad flight. Mel asked the singer if he could write a simple message to one of his "biggest Filipino fans," Mendoza.
Martin granted the request and grabbed the airlines dining menu and wrote a short message for the "Eat Bulaga" mainstay.
He also handed a love button for Mendoza. "Grabe hindi ko keri, I have never felt this special. Chris Martin might not know me at all but damn this is definitely #fangirlinggoals."
Aside from the letter and pin, Mendoza also got a video greeting from Martin but she decided not to post it on her social media account. Mendoza is a big fan of the British rock band.
Last August, the television star got emotional when she got the opportunity to watch them perform live at the Rose Bowl Stadium in Pasadena, California.
Meanwhile, Coldplay is coming to Manila for a one night only concert at the Mall of Asia Concert Grounds on April 4 as part of their "A Head Full of Dreams" Asian tour.
