The construction of Pauleen Luna and Vic Sotto's new home took about a year and a half.
Throughout her single life, Pauleen Luna had lived with her family in Quezon City.
In the December issue of YES! magazine, the Eat Bulaga! co-host said that moving in with her husband Vic Sotto this year was a welcome change.
From north, she moved to south, in Laguna.
It's a good thing Alden Richards lives near their home, "at least may isa akong kakilala," Pauleen told YES!.
Pauleen revealed that it was in September 2014 when Bossing (Vic's nickname) told her that he bought a lot in Laguna, which is where their house now stands.
She initially didn't make a big deal out of it. After all, Bossing hasn't proposed marriage yet.
But three months after Vic purchased the lot, Pauleen found herself supervising its construction.
Pauleen had a say in almost every thing, while Vic had only a few requests such as spacious veranda for their family dinners, a sizable lanai, high ceilings, and a big master bedroom.
It took about a year and a half to finish the entire house.
Mrs. Sotto shared, "Simple lang naman 'yong gusto namin, spacious lang, pero hindi naman kailangang sobrang intricate.
"Hindi naman kailangang mahal 'yong gamit na nasa loob. Basta maayos lang lahat."
When asked if this was how she envisioned her home, she nodded.
The 28-year-old wife said, "'Tsaka pinaghirapan talaga namin na ayusin 'tong bahay na ito. Talagang inisa-isa namin talaga lahat, detail per detail."
For the Sotto's Christmas decorations, the hands-on wife had her Christmas tree up since September.
On Instagram, Pauleen wrote, "Merry Christmas from our home! Excited for Jesus' birthday!
"Hindi naman halata na excited."
