"I'm a young woman now, I'm also trying to experience things now," says Liza Soberano about what 2016 has been for her.
Despite the glitz and glamor of her life in show business, Liza Soberano still prefers to celebrate Christmas in a simple yet meaningful way.
In an interview recently, the 18-year-old Kapamilya star related she will be home on December 25.
Liza said, “We usually celebrate Christmas at home at because we're very traditional.
“We believe that it should be a family get-together and stuff, so it should be intimate... you know, peaceful at our house lang.
“Parang, at least, the memories are created inside our house. So, yun, sa bahay lang.”
Meanwhile, Liza is keeping her Christmas gift to her onscreen partner Enrique Gil a secret.
“For Quen, I have a Christmas gift but if I tell you, it won't be a secret anymore," she said, smiling.
"Makikita niya,” but she gave us a hint, “It's shiny. That's all I can say, it's shiny.”
ROLLERCOASTER 2016. The former Dolce Amore actress said that 2016 has been a different experience for her.
“My 2016 was crazy roller-coaster because I've been through a lot of ups and downs.
“This year, we started a new show and ended it also.
“I was happy that we started Dolce Amore, but I was sad at the same time when it ended.
"I got very attached to everybody I was working with.”
In 2016, a lot of offers, including endorsement deals, have come her way.
Additionally, Liza also became the most talked-about Kapamilya celebrity during the Star Magic Ball.
“I'm also happy because I gained, like, so many new family—with my endorsements, the people in my movie, and the show I did.
“I don't know, I just experienced so much this year.
“I guess it's also due to the fact that I am 18.
“I'm a young woman now, I'm also trying to experience things now.”
