There is no doubt the huge leap of success Alden Richards is having and part of it is due to his onscreen partner, Maine Mendoza.
But there lies the argument, as what Alden Richards could have ever accomplished if it weren't for the chemistry with 'Yaya Dub?'
Some fans and critics witnessed that the guy known as "Pambansang Bae" is showing a lot of holes as an artist.
They felt that Alden failed to evolve amid his commercial rise. His singing and dancing are still mediocre, and he can't even crack a creative pun.
Even some are already deducing that Maine Mendoza has already surpassed Alden in those departments.
The problem could be that Alden is feeling complacent. His newfound fame and glory might lead him to believe that there is no room for improvement. He is content with his current situation but as of now, his only true trump card is his looks.
Alden should remember that his success could be swiftly taken away just as how fast it came to him, now that there is always a new prospect on the rise for each passing moment.
